Ever feel like you want a garden, but don't have room in this city?

Fear not! This hands on workshop will teach you the art of container gardening.  We will be planting a garden for Indy Hall's balcony while learning skills to take into our own homes.You'll walk away with a worksheet to help get you growing and some newfound knowledge thanks to the green thumbs over at Emerald Street Urban Farm.

PLANTING

All workshop attendees are encouraged to BYOPot so you can plant something for your new container garden during the workshop.  Dirt and seeds will be provided, please bring a vessel to plant in that is under 16" in diameter. 

In addition, we'll plant the new Container Garden on the IndyHall balcony together. 

Veggies will include: 

• Lettuce
• Spinach
• Kale
• Herbs!
• Tomatoes
• Cucumbers
  

BRUNCH-TASTIC

Come Hungry!  We're whipping up some Sunday brunch fingerfoods for everyone to enjoy, YUM: Fresh Fruit, Muffins, Coffee Cake and Quiche. 

SPROUT-FRIENDLY

Children and Families are encouraged to come and participate in the workshop and brunching.  We'll have some little sprouts for your little sprouts to plant.  It's sure to be a fun-filled spring morning for the family.

SUPPORT URBAN ART + FOOD

All the proceeds will be going towards materials for the Indy Hall garden and a donation to FAIR GROUNDS a new collaboration between Emerals Street Urban Farm and little berlin.
